## Synopsis

Lock, Stock... (2000) is a British crime comedy series created for Channel 4, a spin-off from the 1998 film Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels. Shaun Parkes as Bacon, Daniel Caltagirone as Moon, Scott Maslen as Jamie and Del Synnott as Lee lead a crew of small-time East End criminals drawn into schemes, debts and rivalries across London's underworld. Ralph Brown plays Miami Vice, a figure whose dealings keep pulling the group into bigger trouble. Each episode is built around a new scheme that goes sideways, with comic reversals and sharp, fast dialogue at its center. The show is a single season of seven hour-long episodes, offering the same brash, fast-talking energy that made the film a cult favourite. Its tone is irreverent and breezy, with flashes of violence and menace undercutting the jokes. Much of the flavour comes from the dense rhyming slang of the London East End, which gives the dialogue a distinctive texture and makes the banter harder for outsiders to follow. Fans of Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, Snatch and Gangs of London will find the same mix of London crime, scrappy hustle and comedy of errors.
