## Synopsis

TaleSpin (1990-1991) is an American animated family adventure series created for Disney Channel and syndication, produced by Disney Television Animation. Baloo the Bear, a big-hearted cargo pilot voiced by Ed Gilbert, is trying to clear his debts by flying transport runs for his failing air company, now run by Rebecca Cunningham (Sally Struthers) and her daughter Molly. His young friend Kit Cloudkicker (R.J. Williams) often joins him as co-pilot. Each episode is built around a delivery job, a comic misadventure or a dangerous detour, with the constant threat of Don Karnage and his sky pirates, plus the scheming tiger Shere Khan. The series runs one season of 65 episodes, a light, episodic cartoon set in a colorful 1930s-style world of islands and airfields. Its tone is breezy and comforting, with slapstick and warm friendship. Fans of Darkwing Duck, Chip 'n Dale: Rescue Rangers and Adventures of the Gummi Bears will find similar kid friendly adventure and gentle humor.
