## Synopsis

Mucha Lucha! (2002-2005) is an American-Canadian animated comedy created by Eddie Mort and Lili Chin for The WB. Set in a town built around lucha libre, the series follows three children, the masked hero Rikochet, The Flea and Buena Girl, as they struggle through the Foremost World-Renowned International School of Lucha. Rikochet (voiced by Jason Marsden) and The Flea (voiced by Candi Milo) bring the rivalry, scheming and eagerness of young wrestlers to every episode, while the stern Abuelito (voiced by Terry Klassen) and the rival Cindy Slam (voiced by Kimberly Brooks) keep the training ground lively. Across three seasons and fifty-two episodes, the show is built as a case of school-life misadventures, with each story turning on ring lessons, showmanship and the pressure to prove oneself in the arena. Its tone is bright, brisk and slapstick-driven, with a warm family-friendly heart and a steady stream of over-the-top wrestling spectacle. Fans of Teen Titans and Kim Possible will find a similar mix of youthful action and gentle comedy, with a distinctive Mexican cultural flavor that sets it apart.
