## Synopsis

That Mitchell and Webb Look is a British sketch comedy series created by David Mitchell and Robert Webb for BBC Two, running from 2006 to 2010 across four series. The two creators lead a rotating set of characters through short, self-contained sketches, so there is no continuing story and viewers can join at any point. Each sketch builds a simple premise and escalates it through precise wordplay, deadpan delivery and absurd logic, often aimed at everyday social awkwardness, media conventions and the pretensions of the characters themselves. Self-referential asides and slapstick beats sit alongside sharper satire, giving the show a dry, knowing register. The tone stays wry and light rather than cruel, and the pace is brisk, with each sketch landing quickly before moving on. Viewers who enjoy Monty Python's Flying Circus, The Fast Show or Little Britain will find a similar appetite for cerebral British silliness. It suits anyone who likes witty, dry humour served in short doses.
