## Synopsis

Cyberchase (2002-present) is a Canadian and American educational animated series created by Sandra Sheppard for PBS Kids, with episodes also airing on CBC Television and Nickelodeon. The show follows three children, Jackie (Novie Edwards), Inez (Annick Obonsawin) and Matt (Jacqueline Pillon), who are pulled into Cyberspace, a glowing virtual world run by their leader Motherboard. Their engine is simple and concrete: each adventure pits them against The Hacker (Christopher Lloyd), a scheming villain who wants to take over the digital realm, and the kids can only stop him by cracking math puzzles and problem-solving challenges as a team. Their sidekick Digit, voiced by Gilbert Gottfried in the early seasons and later by Ron Pardo, supports them along the way. Across sixteen seasons and roughly 156 episodes, the series runs as a sequence of self-contained case-of-the-week adventures with a continuing villain, so episodes can be watched in any order. Its tone is bright, upbeat and encouraging, with playful computer-game visuals and a warm, cozy atmosphere aimed at young viewers. Fans of Blue's Clues, The Magic School Bus and Dragon Tales will find the same blend of puzzle solving and gentle humor.
