## Synopsis

Wallace & Gromit's World of Invention (2010) is a British stop motion documentary series created by Aardman and broadcast on BBC One. Peter Sallis returns as the voice of the claymation inventor Wallace, with Gromit silently assisting, while Ashley Jensen narrates the filmed inserts and Jem Stansfield appears in-vision as a science correspondent in each episode. Across six half-hour episodes, the series moves through real machines and inventions from around the world, showing how they shaped the inventing career Wallace has built on screen. Each segment pairs factual footage with comic claymation set pieces, so the engine is curiosity: what a device does, why it mattered, and how it links to the gadgets Wallace would love to build. The tone is warm, cheerful and gently funny, with a sense of wonder about mechanical ingenuity. Fans of Connections, the Wrong Trousers and Horizon will find resonance in its blend of clever engineering, British wit and affectionate stop motion craft. It is a one-season miniseries aimed at families and young inquisitive minds, a bright introduction to real science told through familiar characters.
