## Synopsis

Love Hina (2000) is a Japanese animated romantic comedy series produced by XEBEC and broadcast on TV Tokyo and affiliated stations, a shonen anime adapted from the manga by Ken Akamatsu. Keitaro Urashima (voiced by Yuji Ueda) is a daydreaming aspiring artist who has failed his entrance exams for Toudai University and reluctantly becomes the residential manager of an all-girls dormitory when his grandmother steps away from the job. His engine is a half remembered childhood promise to meet a sweetheart at the university, and he cannot tell which of the dormitory's applicants might be her. Naru Narusegawa (voiced by Yui Horie) is the most headstrong of the tenants, while Shinobu Maehara (voiced by Masayo Kurata) and the sword-wielding Motoko Aoyama (voiced by Yuu Asakawa) add contrasting temperaments. Each episode is a self-contained run of misunderstandings, slapstick mishaps and hot spring fanservice, with the romance building gradually across a single 24-episode season.
