## Synopsis

Regular Show (2010-2017) is an American Cartoon Network animated comedy series created by J.G. Quintel. Its two leads, a blue jay named Mordecai and a raccoon named Rigby, are slacker groundskeepers at a city park who want their mundane jobs to become something more exciting. Mordecai is voiced by Quintel himself and Rigby by William Salyers, while Mark Hamill voices the park's skeptical boss Skips and Sam Marin voices the gentle, pragmatic Benson. Across eight seasons and 245 eleven-minute episodes, the engine is simple: the friends try to dodge work, and each shift inevitably spirals into time travel, monsters, rival bands, video game worlds, and cosmic mishaps. Episodes move at a brisk clip, shifting genre mid-story with parody and cutaway gags. Beneath the chaos sits a warm, loyal friendship that keeps the absurdity grounded. The tone is breezy, irreverent and comforting, a cartoon that delights in pop culture and surreal escalation. Fans of Adventure Time, The Amazing World of Gumball and Undergrads will find similar slacker-meets-absurdity charm in this long-running, self-contained-episode sitcom.
