## Synopsis

Richie Rich (1980-1984) is an American animated family series created by William Hanna and Joseph Barbera for ABC. Adapted from the Harvey Comics characters, it follows Richie Rich, the wealthy and good-natured young boy, and his clever, loyal dog Dollar as they wander through gentle comic adventures. Their everyday world is shaped by money: gadgets, mansions and generous fortunes make small problems easy to solve, while the stories lean on playful misadventures rather than real danger. The series runs four seasons with 41 episodes, each a self-contained half hour built from simple gags and light mischief. Its tone is cheerful, breezy and warmly comforting, the sort of bright Saturday morning cartoon that fans of The Jetsons and Scooby-Doo, Where Are You! will find familiar. Its bright comic-book look and kid-friendly ensemble make it an easy, undemanding watch for younger audiences and families looking for classic Hanna-Barbera fun.
