## Synopsis

Big Time Rush (2009-2013) is an American Nickelodeon teen sitcom created by Scott Fellows that blends music and comedy. Four friends from Minneapolis, led by Kendall Knight (Kendall Schmidt), Logan Mitchell (Logan Henderson), James Diamond (James Maslow) and Carlos Garcia (Carlos PenaVega), move to Los Angeles after Kendall is spotted by an eccentric record executive, Gustavo Rocque (Stephen Kramer Glickman). Their engine is simple and bright: they want a chart-topping career and must prove to themselves and their label that they are serious about it, while navigating the hurdles of life in a new city. Each episode mixes sketch-like comic situations with musical performances, so the boys' bids for fame keep turning into playful set pieces. The series runs four seasons and seventy episodes, a continuing story with light serial threads rather than a case-of-the-week format. The tone is whimsical, cheerful and gently silly, with a warm bond among the friends at its center. Viewers who enjoy Hannah Montana, iCarly and Zoey 101 will find similar youthful energy and musical fun here. Its Los Angeles setting feels like a bright, modern pop world built for a young audience.
