## Synopsis

Autumn's Concerto (2009-2010) is a Taiwanese romantic drama series created for TTV Main Channel, a single-season run of 21 episodes at roughly ninety minutes each. Law student Ren Guang-xi (Vanness Wu), the sole heir to a wealthy business empire and a talented ice hockey player, seems to have everything yet feels emotionally empty. His life changes when he meets Liang Mu-cheng (Ady An), a new bento seller at his university canteen, whose warmth and generosity begin to melt his guarded exterior after a harmless wager brings them together. The engine of the series is the slow, awkward growth of their bond across campus life, set against the pressures of a privileged family and rival romantic interests including He Yi-qian (Hsu Wei-ning). The emotional register is tender and aching, built on sincere longing, class-divide tension and the quiet sacrifices of ordinary days. Its later stretch turns on a medical crisis that reshapes the couple's history, lending the story a heavy, tearjerker weight. Fans of Meteor Garden, The Notebook and Blue Gate Crossing will find resonance in its blend of youthful romance, devotion and bittersweet heartache. Told in one contained season, it suits viewers who want a complete, emotionally direct romance from Taiwanese television.
