## Synopsis

Capadocia (2008-2012) is a Mexican HBO Latin America serialized crime drama, a Spanish-language premium cable series with an adult tone. Its ensemble centers on Lorena Guerra (Ana de la Reguera) and Aurelia Sosa, known as La Bambi and also Valeria (Cecilia Suárez), alongside Teresa Lagos (Dolores Heredia) and Federico Márquez (Juan Manuel Bernal). The engine of the series is the struggle of women and men caught between personal loyalties and the criminal networks and institutions that demand their silence, with each episode advancing an ongoing storyline rather than standing alone. Across three seasons of thirteen episodes each, the narrative builds its tension through shifting alliances, moral compromise, and the cost of survival in a Mexican city. The mood is tense, gritty and character driven, with emotional weight carried by its female leads. Viewers who enjoy Narcos, Breaking Bad and Oz will find similar pleasures in its layered crime plotting and serialized ambition. The show was canceled after its third season, leaving its story open.
