## Synopsis

Karishma Kaa Karishma (2003-2004) is an Indian family sitcom and a remake of the American series Small Wonder, broadcast on Star Plus and produced by Alliance Media & Entertainment. Jhanak Shukla plays Karishma, a cyber kid whose gadget nature sets the household off balance, while Sanjeev Seth plays her father Vikram, the inventor-parent who must keep her secret from the neighbours. Across a single season of 65 twenty-four-minute episodes, the engine is simple: a mechanical child tries to pass as an ordinary schoolgirl while the family scrambles to cover each glitch and misreading of the world around her. Each episode is a self-contained domestic mishap, resolved by a warm closing scene rather than a larger arc. The tone is breezy, wholesome and whimsical, with affectionate family bonds underneath the slapstick and bright, unpretentious sets rather than any dark futurism. Fans of Small Wonder (1985), Full House and Mork & Mindy will find the same blend of gadget-driven comedy and sentimental domestic comfort.
