## Synopsis

Rookie Blue (2010-2015) is a Canadian police drama created by Ellen Vanstone, Tassie Cameron and Morwyn Brebner for Global TV. Perfectionist rookie Andy McNally (Missy Peregrym) joins a close-knit group of young probationary officers in Toronto, alongside Dov Epstein (Gregory Smith), Gail Peck (Charlotte Sullivan), Traci Nash (Enuka Okuma) and Chris Diaz (Travis Milne). Andy's father was a homicide detective who burned out on the job, and she wants to prove herself in a city where a single misstep can cost a life. Each episode mixes case-of-the-week calls on the street with the rookies' stumbling efforts to earn trust from veteran officers, while romantic tangles and friendships spill across the precinct and into private lives. Across six seasons and seventy-four episodes, the show keeps a serialized thread running beneath its procedural cases. The tone is earnest and emotionally engaged, with moments of tension, camaraderie and quiet heartbreak. Fans of Third Watch, Flashpoint and The Bridge will find a similar blend of ensemble police work and personal drama, set in the working streets of modern Toronto.
