## Synopsis

Parker Lewis Can't Lose (1990-1993) is an American teen sitcom created by Lon Diamond and Clyde Phillips for FOX. Corin Nemec plays Parker Lewis, a cool, popular high school student who seems to slip out of every jam, while Billy Jayne as Mikey Randall and Troy Slaten as Jerry Steiner form his loyal circle of best friends. The engine of the show is Parker's ongoing scheming against school principal Grace Musso, played by Melanie Chartoff, whose mission is getting him expelled, and his tattling little sister Shelly, played by Maia Brewton. Each half-hour episode is a self-contained caper built from schoolyard mischief, slapstick set pieces and the small social dramas of high school life. Across three seasons the series keeps a light, breezy rhythm, leaning on physical comedy and quick wit rather than any continuing story. The atmosphere is nostalgic and sunny, with a cheerful early nineties suburban texture. Fans of Saved by the Bell, Ferris Bueller's Day Off and Freaks and Geeks will find resonance in its mix of teen charm, rebellious humor and friendship at the center of the school day.
