## Synopsis

Little Einsteins (2005-2009) is an American preschool animated series created by Douglas Wood for Playhouse Disney. Four gifted, ethnically diverse children, Annie, Leo, June and Quincy, voiced by Natalia Wojcik, Jesse Schwartz, Erica Huang and Aiden Pompey, travel the world in an artificially intelligent rocket named Rocket. Each episode follows the group as they set out to solve a small problem in a famous location, and the solution arrives through classical music and artwork, with the children singing and recognizing masterpieces they encounter along the way. The format is episodic, with each adventure self-contained and built for very young viewers. Two seasons of 67 episodes carry the series, all in a bright, gentle, cheerful register that keeps wonder and curiosity at the center. Its educational tradition draws on the Baby Einstein line of learning videos and shares the cultural-tour spirit of Dora the Explorer, though its direct address to viewers is more collaborative than interrogative. Fans of Dora the Explorer, Baby Einstein and Team Umizoomi will find a similarly warm, participatory preschool world built around exploration and learning.
