## Synopsis

Missing (2010) is a Spanish-language American telenovela-style mystery series created for Telemundo, produced as a single season of 107 episodes. The story follows the family of Elisa, a young woman who vanishes after she is invited to a nightclub by her cousins Santiago, Flor and Eduardo and fails to return when they go to pick her up. Her parents grow more desperate as hours pass, and their search pulls the extended family into a web of suspicion, secrets and confrontation. Sonya Smith plays Dana Riggs, whose involvement with the family runs through the story, alongside Catherine Siachoque as Cecilia Altamira, Gabriel Porras as Mariano Altamira and Jorge Luis Pila as Cristóbal Rivas. Each episode is built from the mounting anxieties of a household that must keep functioning while it searches for answers, with the investigation moving through relatives, friends and possible leads. The tone is melodramatic and tense, emotionally heavy, with family loyalty tested at every turn. Set in a contemporary Latino community in the United States, it lingers on domestic detail and the pressure of waiting. Fans of The Missing, Unforgettable and telenovela crime dramas will find resonance in its blend of anguish, serialized mystery and family turmoil.
