## Synopsis

Generator Rex (2010-2012) is an American animated science fiction action series created by Duncan Rouleau, Joe Kelly, Joe Casey and Steven T. Seagle for Cartoon Network. It follows Rex Salazar (voiced by Daryl Sabara), an ordinary teenager who can turn his body into an arsenal of amazing machines. Rex works with the secret organization Providence, led by Agent 6 (Wally Kurth) and Rebecca Holiday (Grey DeLisle), to stop the spread of untested microscopic robots that infect people and to hunt down monstrous EVOs. The engine of the series is a steady stream of self-contained missions in a near future city, where each episode pits Rex against a new mutated threat while a larger conflict simmers in the background. Across three seasons and fifty-nine half-hour episodes, the tone stays brisk, playful and action-driven, with a warm, hopeful undercurrent about loyalty and found family. Fans of Ben 10, Teen Titans and Transformers: Animated will find resonance in its blend of kid-friendly humor, transforming hero spectacle and secret-agency intrigue. Voice work from Troy Baker as Van Kleiss and Fred Savage as Noah adds further character to the ensemble.
