## Synopsis

Soy tu dueña (2010) is a Mexican telenovela created by Inés Rodena and Kary Fajer for Las Estrellas. Lucero plays Valentina Villalba Rangel, a wealthy heiress who inherited a vast fortune after her parents died, living in a Mexico City mansion with her aunt Isabel Rangel de Dorantes (Silvia Pinal) and her envious cousin Ivana Dorantes Rangel (Gabriela Spanic). Her fiancé Alonso Peñalvert (David Zepeda) conspires with Ivana and leaves her waiting at the altar, and the wound hardens Valentina into a bitter woman. The story follows her slow path toward love with José Miguel Montesinos (Fernando Colunga), while rivalries, schemes and family pressures fill its daily episodes. Told across a single season of 146 episodes, it plays as a classic romantic melodrama, with emotional swings, sharp rivalries and heartfelt confrontations. Its atmosphere is glossy and heightened, with a wistful, nostalgic tone rooted in the Mexican soap opera tradition. Fans of La usurpadora and Rubí will find resonance in its wounded heroine, dramatic betrayals and enduring romance. Presented as a limited run of forty-three minute episodes, it rewards viewers who enjoy romance built on long emotional sagas.
