## Synopsis

Journeyman (2007) is a one season American network drama that blends science fiction with domestic mystery, created by Kevin Falls for NBC. Kevin McKidd plays newspaper reporter Dan Vasser, a man who suddenly begins to travel through time to change the lives of people around him. His journeys reunite him with his long-lost fiancee Livia Beale (Moon Bloodgood), and back in the present his wife Katie Vasser (Gretchen Egolf) and the rest of his family face the strain of his absences and secrets. Reed Diamond appears as Jack Vasser, adding to the family pressure. Each episode is built around a stranger in need and a fix Dan must attempt before he is pulled back to the present, so the show plays like a puzzle of consequences. Set in contemporary American cities, it is a grounded, emotional drama with a wistful, melancholic tone and a steady undercurrent of mystery. Fans of Quantum Leap, Outlander and Dark will find resonance in its mix of time travel, romance and moral unease. The series ran thirteen episodes and remains a compact, self-contained piece of television.
