## Synopsis

Shake It Up (2010-2013) is an American Disney Channel family sitcom created by Chris Thompson for Disney Channel. Best friends CeCe Jones (Bella Thorne) and Rocky Blue (Zendaya) dream of dancing stardom and win places as backup dancers on the fictional local show Shake It Up, Chicago. Their engine is simple and bright: they want the spotlight, but they must prove they can keep up with a demanding, colorful cast and crew. Each episode is a fast, family-friendly comedy built around rehearsals, mishaps, sibling rivalry and friendship tests, with Flynn Jones (Davis Cleveland), Ty Blue (Roshon Fegan) and Deuce Martinez (Adam Irigoyen) adding chaos and loyalty. Music and dance numbers keep the tone upbeat, sincere and playful. Across three seasons and 77 episodes, the series stays a light, episodic, kid-friendly comedy set in present-day Chicago. Fans of Hannah Montana, Austin & Ally and Good Luck Charlie will find a similar blend of youthful ambition, friendship and performance comedy.
