## Synopsis

Fury (1955-1960) is an American western television series created for NBC by the Television Programs of America company, and later associated with ITC Entertainment. Peter Graves plays Jim Newton, a rancher who runs the Broken Wheel Ranch in California and raises his adopted son Joey (Bobby Diamond) with the help of ranch hand Pete Wilkey (William Fawcett). Roger Mobley joins the cast in the later seasons as Packy Lambert, Joey's friend. The show runs five seasons and 117 half-hour episodes, and each story is self-contained, built around the ranch's daily work and the problems that arrive at its gates. The wild stallion Fury, whose opening run toward the camera is introduced by an announcer as the story of a horse and a boy who loves him, is the emotional center of the show.
