## Synopsis

Lost Girl (2010-2015) is a Canadian supernatural urban fantasy series created by M. A. Lovretta for Syfy and Showcase. Anna Silk plays Bo, a gorgeous succubus who feeds on human energy and often leaves her victims dead, yet refuses to bow to her clan's rigid hierarchy. Her companions include Zoie Palmer as the human Lauren, a sharp-minded ally, Ksenia Solo as the resourceful Kenzi, and Kristen Holden-Ried as the werewolf Dyson, whose loyalties and affections pull against her own. Bo's engine is simple and propulsive: she takes up the fight for the underdog, case by case, across a hidden city where fae, werewolves and other creatures live beside ordinary people, while she keeps chasing the truth about her mysterious origins. The series runs five seasons and seventy-seven episodes, mostly standalone supernatural cases threaded with a longer arc of secrets and power struggles. Its tone mixes flirtatious romance, playful banter and dark, sensual menace, with a heroine who is both predator and protector. Fans of Buffy the Vampire Slayer and True Blood will find a similar appetite for monster-of-the-week drama wrapped around romance and outsider identity.
