## Synopsis

Corazon Valiente (2012-2013) is a US-produced Spanish-language telenovela created by Marcela Citterio for Telemundo. Angela Valdez (Adriana Fonseca) and Samanta Sandoval Navarro (Ximena Duque) were inseparable as children, but a trap of fate pulled them apart for many years, and the series follows the women as their lives drift into the orbit of one another again. Their romantic and personal entanglements draw in principal figures such as Juan Marcos Arroyo (José Luis Reséndez), Guillermo del Castillo (Fabián Ríos), Fernanda del Castillo (Aylín Mújica) and Miguel Valdez (Jorge Luis Pila), whose loyalties and rivalries keep the plot moving. The engine of the show is the push and pull between devotion and betrayal: each episode turns on a confrontation, a secret, or a choice that tests whether friendship and love can survive years of separation. The story unfolds across a single season of 206 episodes at roughly forty-two minutes each, a long-form serialized run that rewards steady viewing. Its tone is heartfelt and melodramatic, with sincere emotion, sweeping romance and courage under pressure at the center. Fans of Rosalinda, La Usurpadora and Cuidado con el Angel will find the same heightened devotion and sentimental drama. The series is set in a contemporary Latin American milieu rendered for a US Hispanic audience.
