## Synopsis

What kind of soul will you deliver to God, bitch? (2000) is a Greek television crime drama miniseries created by Alexandros Rigas and Dimitris Apostolou for Mega TV. Its six episodes of roughly 55 minutes follow four women who want revenge on the man who sexually abused them when they were little girls, with the characters Aleka Kaloudaki (Hrysa Ropa), Dominic Cesar (Eleni Randou), Popi Kammenou and Dida Galanou (Ava Galanopoulou) and Fofo Tsintikidou (Eleni Kastani) at its center. The engine of the story is the slow assembly of a plan, the risks each woman takes to carry it out, and the personal histories that surface along the way. Each episode moves through confrontation, secrecy and family pressure in a heightened, melodramatic register. The series was known for drawing very high ratings from its start, but production was abruptly halted during the seventh episode, which was never completed, so the story ends unfinished. Its tone is raw, bitter and defiant, with flashes of dark humor. Viewers who enjoy Big Little Lies, Desperate Housewives and Gomorra will find resonance in its mix of sisterhood, vengeance and Mediterranean melodrama.
