## Synopsis

Set in a tiny Viking-age village called Midgård, this Swedish sitcom follows a band of dorky, dim-witted Norsemen led by the well-meaning but hopeless Lill-Snorre. Their ambitions are small: scrape together food, avoid trouble, and keep their modest community afloat, though their plans usually collapse through their own incompetence. Silly slapstick, goofy misunderstandings and absurd mishaps drive nearly every episode, and the humor comes from the characters' mental shortcomings rather than sharp wit. The mood is warm and irreverent, with a bond of friendship that holds the ragged group together even as they fumble through every scheme. Each episode is self-contained, so viewers can dip in anywhere without losing the thread. Its mythic Norse setting is played as ordinary everyday life, which gives the show a cheerful, low-stakes charm. It suits viewers who want a light, undemanding laugh and a gentle, affectionate look at small-town misfits who never quite manage to be heroes but always mean well. Familiar in format yet distinctly Scandinavian in its deadpan goofiness, it offers easy comfort comedy for family viewing or a relaxed evening.
