## Synopsis

Space Ghost and Dino Boy (1966-1967) is an American Saturday morning animated adventure series created by Alex Toth for CBS. Intergalactic policeman Space Ghost, voiced by Gary Owens, patrols the cosmos in his tricked-out spaceship the Phantom Cruiser, wearing his legendary suit and powerful wristbands to hunt down villains such as Brak and Zorak, voiced by Keye Luke and Don Messick. Alongside him, Dino Boy, voiced by John David Carson, teams with the caveman Ugh and the dinosaur Bronty to face primitive menaces on their ancient home world. The engine of the series is simple and brisk: each eight-minute episode sets a hero against a villain, with a fast-moving pursuit, a clear threat, and a quick resolution. The single season runs sixty episodes, structured as two paired adventures in space and in a prehistoric past. Its tone is breezy, cheerful, and nostalgic, with a playful stylized look typical of 1960s television animation. Fans of The Jetsons, The Herculoids, and Johnny Quest will find the same retro blend of space heroics, monster battles, and kid-friendly action that defined early Hanna-Barbera cartoons.
