## Synopsis

Magic Knight Rayearth (1994-1995) is a Japanese animated fantasy adventure series produced by Tokyo Movie Shinsha and aired on YTV. Hikaru Shidou, Fuu Hououji and Umi Ryuuzaki, three middle school girls on a field trip to Tokyo Tower, are suddenly pulled into a parallel world where they are told they must save its princess to return home. Voiced by Hekiru Shiina, Hiroko Kasahara and Konami Yoshida, the girls are chosen as pilots of giant mecha called Rayearth, and each episode builds around their quest across unfamiliar lands, the monsters they must face, and the bonds of friendship that hold them together as the stakes grow.
