## Synopsis

Soy tu fan (2010-2023) is a Mexican romantic comedy series broadcast on Canal Once, created as a slice of life portrait of young adults in Mexico. Its ensemble includes Carla "Charly" García played by Ana Claudia Talancón and Nicolás "Nico" Cruz played by Martín Altomaro, with Flor Eduarda Gurrola as Vanessa, Maya Zapata as Rocío Lozano, and Osvaldo Benavides as Julián Muñoz rounding out the circle. The engine of the show is the tangle of romantic attachment within a group of friends, where characters chase someone they admire, sometimes trying to become someone else, sometimes settling for watching from a distance, and sometimes forcing an encounter. Each episode unspools through everyday conversations, parties, and awkward confrontations among friends who are still figuring out who they are. The series runs across three seasons and thirty-four episodes, moving from a steady early run into a shorter later season. Its tone is wistful yet breezy, warm and funny while staying honest about how irrational longing feels. Fans of Girls, Looking and Jane the Virgin will find resonance in its blend of romance, comedy, and close friendship.
