## Synopsis

You Are My Other Half (2001-2002) is a Greek national-television romantic comedy created by Lefteris Papapetrou and Antonis Angelopoulos for Mega TV. Katerina Lehou plays Vicky, a glamorous Greek woman who has lived in Australia and is gripped by cold feet before her wedding. Her scheme, hatched on the flight to Athens, is to trade places with her streetwise, big-hearted friend Stella, played by Vicky Stavropoulou. The engine is pure farce: one plane trip becomes a stage for mistaken identities, clashing family expectations and the comic friction between two very different women trying to pass as each other. Vassilis Haralambopoulos joins the cast as Grigoris, one of the people whose lives the switch disrupts. Told across one season of thirty 45-minute episodes, the show plays like a bright, breezy sitcom with a romantic core, warm and comforting in tone and focused on loyalty and family. Set in contemporary Athens, it leans on the familiar comedy of in-laws and wedding nerves. Fans of Ugly Betty, Jane the Virgin and My Big Fat Greek Wedding will find resonance in its mix of identity swap comedy, big family dynamics and warm romantic chaos.
