## Synopsis

Kamikaze Kaitou Jeanne (1999-2000) is a Japanese animated shoujo series produced by Toei Animation and aired on TV Asahi. Maron Kusakabe (voiced by Houko Kuwashima) seems an ordinary, scatterbrained schoolgirl, but she is the reincarnation of Joan of Arc, and with her angel sidekick Finn she seals demons that hide inside paintings and possess weak-hearted people. Each sealing makes the artwork vanish, so the police and her best friend Toudaiji Miyako (Naoko Matsui), the police chief's daughter, suspect her of being a common art thief.
