## Synopsis

Wolf's Rain (2003) is a Japanese anime science fiction adventure series created by BONES and aired on Fuji TV, produced by ADK and Bandai Visual, running for one season of twenty-six episodes. In a post-collapse wasteland where poverty and fear rule the cities, a lone white wolf named Kiba (Mamoru Miyano) wanders in search of the legendary paradise. He is soon joined by fellow outcast wolves Tsume (Kenta Miyake), Hige (Akio Suyama) and Toboe (Hiroki Shimowada), each carrying private scars and grudges. Their engine is a mission to find and protect the Flower Maiden Cheza (Arisa Ogasawara) while hunted by people who fear wolves and by a man with mysterious powers. Each episode mixes tense chases, uneasy encounters with human settlements and sacrifices that weigh on the group, building toward a long, serialized arc. The tone is melancholic, austere and quietly mythic, with sorrow and loyalty running beneath the action. Fans of Cowboy Bebop, Vinland Saga and Attack on Titan will find resonance in its bleak, beautiful journey.
