## Synopsis

InuYasha (2000-2010) is a Japanese animated fantasy adventure series created as a Sunrise production for ANIMAX, Nippon TV and YTV, adapted from the manga by Rumiko Takahashi. Modern schoolgirl Kagome Higurashi (voiced by Satsuki Yukino) is pulled through an ancient well into feudal Japan, where she meets the sullen half-demon InuYasha (Kappei Yamaguchi), pinned to a tree by an enchanted arrow. Together with the monk Miroku (Koji Tsujitani), the demon slayer Sango (Houko Kuwashima) and the fox child Shippo, they hunt demons and chase fragments of the shattered Shikon jewel, which grants great power to whoever holds it.
