## Synopsis

Fais pas ci, fais pas ça (2007-2017) is a French national-television family sitcom created by Thierry Bizot and Anne Giafferi for France 2 and France 4. Its engine is the friendship between two neighboring households, the Bouley and the Lepic families, whose educational methods are deliberately opposed. Valérie Bouley (Isabelle Gélinas) and Denis Bouley (Bruno Salomone) face off against Fabienne Lepic (Valérie Bonneton) and Christophe Lepic (Yaniss Lespert), and their children, including Charlotte Lepic (Cannelle Carré-Cassaigne) and Eliott Bouley (Lilian Dugois), are caught between the two camps. Each episode is built from small domestic disputes, school worries, and everyday household mishaps, so the comedy grows from ordinary routines rather than a continuing plot. Across nine seasons and sixty-eight episodes, the show keeps a light, warm register, with bickering that never breaks the bond between the families. Viewers who enjoy Modern Family and the gentle French family comedy of Les Vacances du petit Nicolas will find the same affectionate tone of shared parenting frustration and neighborly loyalty.
