## Synopsis

The Legend of the Legendary Heroes (2010-2010) is a Japanese anime fantasy series produced by ZEXCS and aired on TV Tokyo, running a single 24-episode season. Ryner Lute (voiced by Jun Fukuyama) and his longtime comrade Ferris Eris (voiced by Ayahi Takagaki) are dispatched by their emperor on a quest for the Heroic Relics, the storied artifacts of legendary champions. Along the road Ryner uncovers a deadly curse spreading across the continent, turning the journey into a race against a plague no single hero can outfight. Supporting party members voiced by Saki Fujita as Milk Callaud and Miyuki Sawashiro as Calne Kaiwal give the quest its banter and loyalty. Each episode pushes the search forward through new lands, monsters and demonic threats, with the brisk rhythm of a traveling shonen adventure. The tone blends earnest heroism with melancholy and creeping dread, set in an invented continent of kingdoms and ancient magic. Fans of Slayers, Record of Lodoss War and Berserk will find resonance in its mix of companionship, fantasy quest and grim stakes.
