## Synopsis

Wizards of Waverly Place (2007-2012) is a American Disney Channel fantasy sitcom created by Todd J. Greenwald for Disney Channel. Alex Russo (Selena Gomez) is a sharp-tongued teen wizard in New York City who wants to escape the chores and scheming that come with her family's magical obligations, while her older brother Justin (David Henrie) and younger brother Max (Jake T. Austin) compete with her and each other for their parents' attention. Their parents Jerry (David DeLuise) and Theresa (Maria Canals-Barrera) run the Waverly Sub Station, a sandwich shop that doubles as a hub for the family's magical life, and the siblings must keep their powers hidden from ordinary classmates such as Harper Finkle (Jennifer Stone). Each episode is a self-contained comedy built around a spell gone wrong or a scheme that spirals out of control, with a light serialized thread running across four seasons. Fans of Sabrina the Teenage Witch and That's So Raven will find resonance in its bright, breezy tone, its family warmth, and its gentle sibling bickering. The show is cozy, playful, and easy to follow, offering a comforting viewing experience for families and younger audiences.
