## Synopsis

Full House (2004) is a South Korean romantic comedy miniseries created by Pyo Min-soo for KBS2. Han Ji-eun (Song Hye-kyo), a free-spirited woman determined to reacquire her childhood home, agrees to a sham marriage with Lee Yeong-jae (Rain), a selfish and self-absorbed actor. The engine of the story is a contract relationship that neither partner expects to turn real: they share a house, navigate the daily friction of cohabitation, and must keep their arrangement secret while the people around them pull in other directions. Kang Hye-won (Han Da-gam) and Yoo Min-hyuk (Kim Sung-su) add rival affections, creating a love square that drives the series forward. Each episode is built from comic misadventures, quarrels, and small domestic mishaps that gradually tilt the pretence toward sincere feeling. Across sixteen episodes in a single season, the tone stays sweet and breezy, with moments of sincere longing and wistful tenderness. The setting is contemporary Seoul in the early 2000s, rendered with the glossy, melodramatic sensibility of the era's television. Fans of My Love from the Star and Boys Over Flowers will find resonance in its blend of romance, comedy, and classic korean drama conventions.
