## Synopsis

Kenny vs. Spenny (2003-2010) is a Canadian reality-style comedy created by Kenny Hotz and Spencer Rice for CBC Television. Its two co-creators play themselves, best friends who turn their rivalry into ridiculous, immature and fiercely intense head-to-head contests. Kenny Hotz, a scheming, relentless cheater, and Spencer Rice, who tries and usually fails to play things straight, face off in challenges that spiral far past anything a viewer expects, with the loser forced to endure a humiliating penalty at the winner's hands. Across six seasons and roughly eighty-six episodes of about twenty-two minutes each, the format stays simple while the stunts grow more chaotic and gross. The show runs on cringe, gross-out and absurd humor from the early two thousands, with a loud, unpredictable energy that rewards viewers who enjoy watching friendship tested to its limit. Fans of Jackass, Impractical Jokers and Punk'd will find a similar appetite for escalating pranks, public embarrassment and irreverent chaos.
