## Synopsis

Legends of the Hidden Temple (1993-1995) is an American children's reality game show created for Nickelodeon, spanning three seasons and 120 episodes. Hosted on camera by Kirk Fogg, with the temple's Olmec guardian voiced by Dee Bradley Baker, the series pits six teams of two children against one another inside a Mayan-styled temple filled with lost treasures. Contestants race through physical stunts and answer questions on history, mythology and geography, and each episode eliminates teams over three rounds. The engine is simple and playful: young contestants want to reach the final run, where the lone surviving team has three minutes to retrieve the artifact and win the grand prize. The format is a case of the week competition built around a single recurring set, so every episode feels like a fresh quest through the same ruins. The tone is bright, goofy and energetic, with a nostalgic 1990s Nickelodeon sensibility, mixing knowledge quizzes with messy physical challenges. Fans of Double Dare, Nickelodeon Guts and Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom will find a similar mix of adventure, kid competitors and playful ancient-world spectacle.
