## Synopsis

Jericho (2006-2008) is an American action drama series created by Stephen Chbosky, Jonathan E. Steinberg and Jon Turteltaub for CBS. Set in the fictional rural town of Jericho, Kansas, the show follows residents thrown into survival mode after nuclear attacks strike twenty three major American cities. Jake Green (Skeet Ulrich) returns home to a community cut off from power, supplies and news, and must balance protecting his family against neighbors who have turned on one another. Robert Hawkins (Lennie James), Emily Sullivan (Ashley Scott) and Gray Anderson (Michael Gaston) pull the town in competing directions as scarcity sharpens old grudges. Each season is built around a serialized conspiracy: who launched the attacks, and what the government is hiding. The engine is practical, with food, fuel and trust in short supply, and the mystery unfolds in parallel with everyday struggles over shelter and loyalty. Its tone is tense and paranoid, with moments of quiet family warmth and hope. Across two seasons, the series runs as one continuing story. Fans of The Walking Dead, Lost and Revolution will find resonance in its blend of post apocalyptic community drama and slow mystery.
