## Synopsis

Rosario + Vampire (2008) is a Japanese animated supernatural comedy series created for TOKYO MX and produced by the studio GONZO, adapted from a manga. Its protagonist, an ordinary high school boy named Tsukune Aono (voiced by Daisuke Kishio), accidentally enrolls at an academy whose students are youkai and vampires disguised as humans, and he must pretend to be one of them to survive. Moka Akashiya (voiced by Nana Mizuki), Kurumu Kurono (voiced by Misato Fukuen) and Yukari Sendou (voiced by Kimiko Koyama) form the principal supporting circle, each concealing a supernatural nature that complicates his daily life. The engine of the series is simple and comic: every episode builds around a new school event, a rivalry, or a suspicious classmate, while the protagonist struggles to keep his secret and win over the crowd of competing girls. Spanning two seasons across twenty-six episodes, it moves at a brisk pace with self-aware jokes that break the fourth wall. Its tone is playful and affectionate, with fanservice and harem comedy layered over a fantasy school setting in present-day Japan. Fans of High School DxD, Monster Musume and Nurarihyon no Mago will find the same blend of monsters, romance and light comedy.
