## Synopsis

Zoids: Chaotic Century (1999-2000) is a Japanese animated mecha adventure series created for TBS and produced by XEBEC and Geneon Universal Entertainment, a single-season run of 67 episodes in the tradition of toy-based shonen anime. Young Van Flyheight befriends Fiona, a mysterious girl with no memory, and Zeke, a companion able to enhance a Zoid's fighting power. Traveling with the resourceful Moonbay and the reserved mercenary Irvine, the group searches for clues to Fiona's past across the Helic Republic while rival Guylos Empire tensions threaten to ignite a full war. Each episode blends pilot duels, mechanical battles and road-trip detours with a steady build toward a renewed conflict. The tone is brisk, earnest and openhearted, with bold fights and a sense of wonder at the planet Zi's ancient technology. Fans of Mobile Suit Gundam, Medabots and Beast Wars: Transformers will find resonance here.
