## Synopsis

Turn A Gundam (1999-2000) is a Japanese animated science fiction series created by Yoshiyuki Tomino for Fuji TV and produced by Sunrise, a two-season run of fifty episodes. Set in the Correct Century, two thousand years after a devastating conflict has left Earth mostly uninhabitable, the story follows a remnant of humanity living on the Moon while the surviving population below slowly recovers. Its principal figures include Loran Cehack, voiced by Romi Park, and Joseph Yaht, voiced by Setsuji Sato, whose paths into the wider conflict drive the narrative. Each episode moves the larger story forward through political maneuvering, shifting alliances and the machines of a war-scarred world, while the mecha action remains grounded in the cost of conflict. Rather than a simple space adventure, it is a serialized drama in which buried history and the question of who controls the past keep pressing against the characters. The tone is melancholic and contemplative, with moments of grim intensity and an undercurrent of dread about cycles of war. Fans of Mobile Suit Gundam, Code Geass and Legend of the Galactic Heroes will find resonance in its political scale and its unflinching look at the costs of conflict in a far-future setting.
