## Synopsis

Tsubasa RESERVoir CHRoNiCLE (2005-2006) is a Japanese animated fantasy adventure series created for NHK Educational TV, produced by BeeTrain and NHK Enterprises, and adapted from the manga. Across 52 episodes in two seasons, the story follows Syaoran, a young boy whose devotion to his princess Sakura drives him to gather the fragments of her soul, which have been scattered across space and time. Miyu Irino voices Syaoran, with Yui Makino as Sakura, Daisuke Namikawa as the mysterious Fay, and Tetsu Inada as the stern warrior Kurogane. The engine of the show is the quest itself: each stop introduces a new parallel world, a new cost, and a new piece of memory to recover, while the travelers keep moving toward an uncertain goal. The tone is wistful and luminous, layering aching longing and loyal companionship over vivid fantasy worlds. Set across many dimensions rather than one fixed era, it is a serialized journey where the emotional pull of the search matters as much as the spectacle. Fans of Cardcaptor Sakura and Fushigi Yuugi will find resonance in its dreamy travel and devoted bonds between characters.
