## Synopsis

The Sparticle Mystery (2011-2015) is a British children's science fiction series created by Alison Hume for CBBC. An experiment gone wrong causes everyone over the age of fifteen to vanish from Earth, leaving a group of young people to face an emptied world on their own. The young cast is led by Callum (Jerome Holder), Sadiq (Karim Zeroual), and Reese (Emily Sanderson), with Frankie (Abbie Hayes) and Holly (Grace Mandeville) among the principal teens. Their engine is a simple but urgent drive: to understand why the grown-ups disappeared and to keep themselves safe while doing so. Each episode builds on puzzles, clues, and unexpected obstacles, and the story unfolds across three seasons and thirty-six episodes as one continuing mystery. The tone is adventurous and hopeful, with suspense that stays within family-friendly limits. Fans of Tomorrow, When the War Began and Doctor Who will find a similar blend of youthful resourcefulness, unexplained peril, and science fiction wonder.
