## Synopsis

Dream High (2011-2012) is a South Korean music school drama series created by Park Jin-young, Park Hye-ryun, Bae Yong-jun, Lee Eung-bok and Kim Seong-yoon for KBS2. Set at Kirin Art High School, it follows six dedicated students who train relentlessly to become stars in the Korean music industry. Suzy plays Ko Hye-mi, TAECYEON plays Jin Guk, and WOOYOUNG plays Jason, with IU, Ahn Sun-young and Park Jin-young in principal supporting roles. The engine of the story is the constant tug between the students' hard-won ambitions and the romantic entanglements that threaten to derail them, as auditions, rehearsals, school rivalries and friendships shape each episode. Across two seasons and thirty-two episodes, the series moves through a continuing school-year arc rather than standalone cases. Its tone is earnest and youthful, with bright musical numbers, bruised friendships and the bittersweet pressure of chasing fame at seventeen. Fans of Glee, Fame and Boys Over Flowers will find resonance in its blend of performance, adolescent romance and dreams deferred. The show is a Korean teen melodrama that leans on music as much as on love stories, making it a natural pick for viewers who enjoy idol-world drama.
