## Synopsis

Cat Planet Cuties (2010) is a Japanese animated science fiction romantic comedy produced by AIC PLUS+ and broadcast on MBS, adapted from a light novel. Its 12-episode single season follows an ordinary, good-natured young man named Kio Kakazu (voiced by Mutsumi Tamura) whose quiet life collapses when he meets Eris (voiced by Kanae Itou), a friendly, flirtatious cat-alien on a peaceful mission. Her fellow felines, including Kuune (Kikuko Inoue) and Melwin (Aki Toyosaki), soon set up base in his house, turning every day into a cramped, chaotic household comedy. Beneath the teasing and suggestive fanservice, the engine of the show is a steady escalation: secret agencies and enemy dog-aliens are closing in on Eris, forcing Kio to protect his unexpected housemates while his own feelings grow. Episodes are brisk, light and mostly self-contained comic set pieces tied to a loose ongoing threat. The tone is breezy, playful and affectionate, with a sci-fi premise that stays small and domestic. Fans of harem comedies and alien romcoms such as Those Who Hunt Elves and Chrono Crusade will find a similar mix of flirtation, household chaos and light espionage.
