## Synopsis

Fate/stay night (2006) is a Japanese animated fantasy action series produced by Studio Deen and broadcast on Teletama, adapted from the visual novel and running for a single season of 24 episodes. Shirou Emiya, a young boy who lost his parents in a fire and was raised by the sorcerer Kiritsugu Emiya, is pulled into the Holy Grail War when he summons a armored female warrior known as Saber (voiced by Ayako Kawasumi) to protect him. Shirou (voiced by Noriaki Sugiyama) must navigate a hidden city of rival mages, each commanding a heroic spirit, who fight in secret for the wish-granting Grail. Rin Tohsaka (voiced by Kana Ueda), a determined magus, and the enigmatic priest Kirei Kotomine (voiced by Jouji Nakata) add tension and shifting alliances. Each episode builds around duels, uneasy truces, and the mounting cost of a war that no one can leave easily. The tone blends brooding dread with flashes of warmth and heroic resolve, with action set against a modern Japanese city. Fans of Fate/Zero, Negima! Magister Negi Magi and Shiki will find resonance in its supernatural battles and hidden magical world. Its audience rating of 7.2 reflects a dedicated following among anime fans.
