## Synopsis

ThunderCats (2011-2012) is an American animated fantasy adventure series created by Theodore Walter Wolf for Cartoon Network, produced with Warner Bros. Animation and STUDIO4℃, with an anime inspired look. Lion-O, the young leader of the ThunderCats, is voiced by Will Friedle, and his companions include the strategic Tygra, the swift Cheetara, and the strong Panthro. After the kingdom of Thundera is overrun by lizard invaders, Lion-O sets out with his band on a quest for the Book of Omens and legendary magic stones, wielding the Sword of Omens as his main weapon. Each episode delivers brisk, colorful action as the heroes face sorcerers and lizard generals, with a bright, brave, good versus evil tone aimed at young viewers. The single season is built around the quest, with the Thundercats' heroic camaraderie at the center of the story. Its world is a mythic fantasy realm full of anthropomorphic animal warriors and ancient magic. Fans of He-Man and the Masters of the Universe, Teen Titans and Voltron: Legendary Defender will find a similar blend of fantasy action and heroic adventure.
