## Synopsis

Toriko (2011-2014) is a Japanese animated shounen adventure series produced by Toei Animation for Fuji TV. Gourmet Hunter Toriko (voiced by Ryotaro Okiayu) travels a fantastical world where food is everything, pursuing rare ingredients and enormous creatures to assemble his ultimate full-course meal. He is joined by his companion Sunny (Mitsuo Iwata) and the cook Komatsu (Romi Park), whose skills turn every hard-won catch into a feast. Each episode is built around a new hunt: a dangerous beast to track, a battle to survive, and a dish to cook, with the team's appetites driving the momentum. The series runs three seasons and 147 episodes, keeping a brisk, boisterous energy in its action and ecstatic reactions to food. Its tone is playful, wildly exaggerated and warm, with ecstatic moments of delight blended into battles with monsters. Fans of One Piece, Hunter x Hunter and Food Wars! will find the same mix of colorful monster hunting and culinary obsession. Viewers wanting a lighthearted yet action-packed food fantasy will find it an easy, joyful watch.
